VST-1000 Viscometer
VST-1000 version 2.7
Determination of viscosity using a falling-ball viscometer – Inclined-tube method. For Newtonian fluids, especially epoxy resins, viscosity range from 10-1 to 106 mPa·s. Glass tube: inner diameter = 15.94 ± 0.01mm, outer diameter = 20mm, length = 207mm. Inclined at 10° to the vertical.
Automated measuring is significantly easier, faster and more accurate than manual measuring, there is no need to remain close to the viscometer during the whole measuring process.
The metal or glass ball is automatically detected by 2 sensors separated of 100mm and the falling time is calculated.
The measuring head containing the tube is automatically rotated after each measurement, and any number of consecutive measurements can be configured for the calculation of the mean viscosity.
The measuring head run with thermoelectric heating/cooling from +5°C to +80°C, eliminating the need for an external cooling bath, and with very high temperature control stability of ± 0.03°C.

The software uses a database to store the measurements and the settings, starting a measurement is very easy by selecting some predefined parameters and the past measurements can be accessed. System log for traceability and operator access level system for security.
